  • What are your views on ethical sourcing & sustainability?
    Being an ethical business owner is very important to me, and I will always do my best to ensure my materials are responsibly and ethically sourced. All crystals used in my pieces have been hand selected from trusted suppliers. I also reuse and recycle as much as possible, and never purchase plastic packaging. Any plastic used has been reused from deliveries I've received. Please reuse and recycle as much as you can.
  • What is your jewellery made from?
    Crystals vary from piece to piece, and this will be outlined in the product descriptions. Plated metals are always copper based, are nickel free and tarnish resistant. Sterling silver and 14ct gold fill are also used throughout my range, again this will be outlined in the product description.
  • I can't see the exact piece of jewellery that I want, what should I do?
    My inbox is always open for custom orders! If you can't see exactly what you need, please send me a message using the contact page outlining what you are looking for and I will get back to you with availability and a quote for the piece. There is absolutely no obligation to purchase.
  • The item I like is out of stock, what should I do?
    If there is an item you love that is no longer available, hit the "notify when available" button within the product listing and enter your email address. This will inform me that there is interest in an out of stock item and I will look to restock it as soon as possible. If the item was a handmade piece of jewellery, I will look at whether creating a similar piece is possible and I will get in touch with you to discuss the options.
  • I've changed my mind about my purchase, can I return it?
    If you're not happy with your purchase, you have 14 days from the date you received it to arrange a return. The item(s) must then be returned within the following 14 days from the point the return is arranged. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the return. If you have any issues or questions at any point, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Please note that I am not able to offer free returns; if you change your mind about your purchase you will be responsible for the cost of return postage. This does not include custom or bespoke orders, or mystery items. These are not returnable unless there is a fault.
  • Which countries do you ship to?
    I can ship parcels to most countries! However, I am only able to take UK orders via my website at this time. If you're outside of the UK, get in touch via the contact form or Instagram DM, let me know which items you're interested in and where you're located and we can discuss the next steps. International orders are processed through Etsy.
  • How long will my order take to be shipped?
    Ready made items are usually shipped within 2 - 3 working days, going up to 7 working days during busy periods. Custom items are usually made and shipped within 7 working days. If you require your item by a certain date, please get in touch before placing your order and I will advise if I'm able to accommodate.
  • What delivery options do you offer?
    Parcels are usually sent via Evri (this will only change if the order is of a very high value and a special delivery is required). This means that your parcels are always tracked, and this information will be sent to you with your dispatch notification. Standard delivery (usually 2 to 3 days) and next day delivery are both available, but please bear in mind that processing time will always apply regardless of which option you choose. Cara E.J. Designs is a small business run by one person, so immediate shipping is not always possible. I will always do my best to dispatch items as quickly as I can.   • My order hasn't arrived, what should I do?
    All mail services differ and can experience delays, particularly at busy times. If your parcel hasn't arrived 10 to 14 days after it was shipped, please get in touch via the contact page.
  • I can't see the answer to my question on your website, what should I do?
    Please get in touch via the contact page and I will do my best to help.
